What Is White Rum?
White rum, also known as light rum or silver rum, is a style of rum that is clear in colour and generally has a more neutral flavour profile. It is made from the biproducts of sugarcane including molasses or sugarcane juice. White Rum is typically aged for a shorter period of time, hence the lighter colour than darker rums which are aged for longer and pick up more colour from the process.
