We stock Cointreau because a margarita is tequila, lime and Cointreau, and nothing else does the job as well. It's bright, clean orange without the syrupy sweetness of cheap triple sec. If you're buying tequila for margaritas, add a bottle of this and some fresh limes.
Tastes like: fresh and bitter orange peel and a clean, warming finish.
How to drink it:
- Margarita: 50ml tequila, 25ml Cointreau and 25ml fresh lime juice, shaken hard with ice and served with a salt rim
- Sidecar: 50ml cognac, 20ml Cointreau and 20ml lemon juice, shaken with ice
- Cosmopolitan: 40ml vodka, 15ml Cointreau, 30ml cranberry and 10ml lime, shaken with ice
