See all cocktail syrups & mixersA honeyed Speyside malt matured in two casks. Smooth, rich and very giftable.
We stock DoubleWood because it's a beautifully balanced single malt. Bourbon casks bring honey and vanilla, sherry casks bring spice and dried fruit. It's one of the best introductions to single malt we know.
Tastes like: honey, vanilla, cinnamon and dried fruit.
How to drink it:
- Neat: pour 35ml of DoubleWood 12 into a tumbler, let it sit for a minute, then add a drop of water if you like
- With a drop of water
- Over one large ice cube

For the whisky nerds
- Made by: The Balvenie, Dufftown, Speyside.
- Ageing: 12 years in American oak casks, then an extra nine months in European oak sherry casks.
Why it tastes like this: American oak gives the vanilla and honey, and the sherry finish adds the fruit and spice. The two woods are where the name comes from.
