Hibiki is the bottle people ask for by name, and it's the one we'd buy as a present for anyone who likes good whisky. It's gentle and rounded, with rose and lychee on the nose and honey and orange peel when you sip it. It's a step up from Toki if you like that style.
Tastes like: rose, lychee and sandalwood, then honey, candied orange peel and white chocolate, with a long, gentle finish.
How to drink it:
- Over ice: 35ml over one large ice cube, stirred for a few seconds
- Neat: 35ml in a tumbler, with a drop of water if you like
- Highball: 50ml over lots of ice, topped with cold soda water
