Dwayne Johnson's small-batch blanco. Smooth, bright and great value for a premium tequila.
We stock Teremana because it's one of the best-value 100% agave tequilas from a big name. It's smooth and citrusy, and it makes a cracking margarita. This is the larger 75cl bottle. That's a little more for your money than a standard 70cl.
Tastes like: sweet agave, citrus, vanilla and a light pepper finish.
How to drink it:
- Margarita: 50ml Teremana Blanco, 25ml Cointreau and 25ml fresh lime juice, shaken hard with ice and served with a salt rim
- Paloma: 50ml Teremana Blanco over ice, topped with grapefruit soda, a squeeze of lime and a pinch of salt
- Tequila soda: 50ml over ice, topped with soda and lime

For the agave nerds
- Made by: DestilerÃa Teremana de Agave, in a small town high in the Jalisco Highlands. Founder Dwayne Johnson worked with a Mexican family-owned distillery to build Teremana its own home on the grounds.
- Agave: Fully mature, naturally sweet agave, harvested by jimadores.
- Cooking: Slow-roasted in small traditional brick ovens.
- Still: Distilled in handmade copper pot stills.
Why it tastes like this: Brick ovens and copper pot stills are the slow, traditional way, and they keep the cooked-agave sweetness in the glass.
