The 35cl is a handy size for a small gathering or a gift. Courvoisier VS is softer and fruitier than Hennessy, and great with ginger ale. A good addition to a gift bundle, and easy to carry to a gathering.

How to drink it:

- Made by: Maison Courvoisier, Jarnac, Cognac.
- Crus: Bons Bois and Fins Bois, distilled without lees for apple, pear and grapefruit notes, plus Petite Champagne distilled with lees for complexity and length.
- People: Chief Blender Thibaut Hontanx, the house's seventh.
Why it tastes like this: Distilling some wine with its lees and some without is how Courvoisier balances fresh fruit with a longer, rounder finish.
