Suntory's Japanese gin with six Japanese botanicals. Citrusy, floral and elegant.
We stock Roku because it's a beautifully balanced gin with yuzu and sakura. It makes a lovely, delicate G&T with a slice of ginger. The bottle is beautiful too, which makes it a lovely gift.
Tastes like: yuzu, cherry blossom, green tea and pepper.
How to drink it:
- G&T: 50ml Roku over ice, topped with a good tonic and a thin slice of fresh ginger
- Highball: 50ml Roku over lots of ice, topped with cold soda water and a twist of lemon
- Martini: 60ml Roku and 10ml dry vermouth, stirred with ice

For the gin nerds
- Made by: Suntory, at the Osaka Distillery in Japan.
- Botanicals: Six Japanese botanicals picked at their peak: sakura flower, sakura leaf, sencha and gyokuro teas, sansho pepper and yuzu peel.
- Still: Each botanical gets the distillation method that brings out the most from it.
Why it tastes like this: Yuzu and sansho give it a bright citrus and pepper kick, and the teas and sakura keep it delicate.
