We stock Kromanti because tamarind is a flavour every Caribbean household knows, and nobody else puts it in rum. It's sweet and sour with warm spice, so it's lovely on ice or with ginger beer. It's a great gift for anyone who grew up with tamarind balls or tamarind drinks.
Tastes like: tangy tamarind, citrus, coriander, cinnamon and white pepper.
How to drink it:
- Over ice, to taste the tamarind
- Long and easy: 50ml Kromanti Tamarind over ice, topped with ginger beer and a wedge of lime
- Rum punch: 50ml Kromanti Tamarind, 100ml pineapple juice, 25ml lime juice, a dash of grenadine and a pinch of grated nutmeg, over plenty of ice

For the rum nerds
Kromanti was founded by father and daughter Cashain and Danielle David. Tamarind launched in November 2020 and has won an IWSC award (2021) and a Silver at the London Spirits Competition (2023). Infused with Caribbean fruits, herbs and spices.
