A smooth Jamaican white rum with a South London family story.
We stock Flat Cap because it's a family brand from our part of London, and a genuinely smooth white rum. Copper-still Jamaican rum, finished in the UK, at a mixable 40%. It's a great way to support a local family brand, and it's lovely in a mojito.
Tastes like: light tropical fruit, vanilla and fresh sugar cane.
How to drink it:
- Long and easy: 50ml Flat Cap over ice, topped with ginger beer and a wedge of lime
- Mojito: muddle mint, lime and a spoon of sugar, add 50ml Flat Cap, fill with crushed ice and top with soda
- Rum punch: 50ml Flat Cap, 100ml pineapple juice, 25ml lime juice, a dash of grenadine and a pinch of grated nutmeg, over plenty of ice

For the rum nerds
Founded by Richard McKitty and named after his father, who came to Britain from Burnt Savannah, Westmoreland, in the 1950s wearing his flat cap. Distilled in copper stills in Jamaica and finished in the UK. Bottled at 40% ABV.
