We keep Bacardi because sometimes only Bacardi will do. But if you're making mojitos, try Bounty White or Mount Gay Silver next time: same price, more flavour. It's a dependable choice for big batches of cocktails, and everyone recognises it.
Tastes like: light vanilla, almond and a crisp, dry finish.
How to drink it:
- Mojito: muddle mint, lime and a spoon of sugar, add 50ml Bacardi, fill with crushed ice and top with soda
- With cola: 50ml Bacardi over ice, topped with cola and a squeeze of lime
- Daiquiri: 50ml Bacardi, 25ml fresh lime juice and 15ml sugar syrup, shaken with ice and strained into a chilled glass
