Vybz Kartel's white overproof rum, made by Angostura in Trinidad. Clean, strong and made for rum punch.
We recommend Fever if you want a strong rum punch that tastes clean rather than funky. It's made by one of the Caribbean's biggest distillers, and it's lighter and less funky than Wray & Nephew, so it mixes smoothly with fruit juice. Kartel fans love it as a gift, too.
Tastes like: clean sugar cane, light spice and a warming finish.
How to drink it:
- Rum punch: 25ml Fever, 100ml mixed pineapple and orange juice, 15ml lime juice, a dash of grenadine and Angostura bitters, over lots of ice
- Island style: 25ml Fever over ice with pineapple juice and a squeeze of lime
- With ginger beer: 25ml Fever over lots of ice, topped with ginger beer
