We stock El Jimador because it's 100% agave for not much more than the mixto brands. That means no rough edges and no regrets. It's our house pick for big batches of margaritas. If you're making margaritas for a crowd, this is the most sensible bottle in the shop. Pair it with Cointreau and fresh limes.
Tastes like: fresh agave, citrus and a peppery finish.
How to drink it:
- Margarita: 50ml El Jimador, 25ml Cointreau and 25ml fresh lime juice, shaken hard with ice and served with a salt rim
- Paloma: 50ml El Jimador over ice, topped with grapefruit soda, a squeeze of lime and a pinch of salt
- As a chilled shot with a wedge of lime
