Bright, peppery highland tequila with the famous Day of the Dead labels. A bartender favourite.
We stock Espolòn because it's the best-value blanco we know for cocktails. It tastes more like agave than tequilas twice the price, and the bottle looks great on a shelf. If you like a margarita with real tequila flavour, this is where we'd start.
Tastes like: fresh agave, pineapple, lemon zest and white pepper.
How to drink it:
- Margarita: 50ml Espolòn Blanco, 25ml Cointreau and 25ml fresh lime juice, shaken hard with ice and served with a salt rim
- Paloma: 50ml Espolòn Blanco over ice, topped with grapefruit soda, a squeeze of lime and a pinch of salt
- Ranch water: 50ml Espolòn over ice with fresh lime and sparkling mineral water
